Francois Nars firar 15 år med att släppa en ny bok, wohoo! I kommande 15×15 kombinerar han sin kärlek till skönhetsprodukter med sin kärlek till fotografering.
“When you do something for 15 years, you want to do something fun but [that is] still a nice piece of work. Plus, the Nars brand people wanted me to do something to remind people I’m still here.”
Boken porträtterar 15 celebriteter som Francois Nars ser som sina vänner, människor som delar hans smak och som han beundrar för deras stil och talang – Marc Jacobs, Isabella Rossellini, Naomi Campbell, Amanda Lepore och Olivier Theyskens är några av de kända ansikten som bjuds. Som inspiration inför varje fotografering har man haft en ikonisk bild, person eller känsla och en klassisk produkt ur Nars sortiment.
På bilderna ovan ser ni Marc Jacobs med nagellacket Dovima, Naomi Campbell med rouget Taj Mahal och Amanda Lepore med läppstiftet Jungle Red.

Francois Nars is celebrating the 15th anniversary of the founding of his company by releasing a new book, yay! He combines his love for beauty products with his love for photography in “15×15″ wich is due mid November. The book features portraits of 15 celebrities: Marc Jacobs, Isabella Rossellini, Naomi Campbell, Amanda Lepore, Olivier Theyskens and others. There are two inspirations for each shot, an iconic image, person or emotion and a classic Nars product.
